THE PRODUCT

How does Recoop work? What’s the difference between the Balance and Recovery formulas?

Recoop’sBalance formula (taken each morning in conjunction with the stimulant) is designed to help people stay focused throughout the day, without the jitters. When taken with stimulants, Recoop has been shown to improve impulse control, combat irritability, lift mood and productivity.

Recoop’sRecovery formula(taken each night, after stimulant use) helps people fall asleep faster and wake up more refreshed. The formula has three main functions: to deactivate the stimulants still in your system, to help induce deep sleep, and to repair your body overnight. These supplements should be taken 30 minutes before bedtime to promote a deep, restorative sleep.

Do I need both the Balance and Recovery formulas to reduce the negative effects of stimulants?

You do not need to take both formulas to enjoy the benefits of Recoop, but a routine that includes both is more effective, as the two are designed to work together.

Where do you source your products?

Our ingredients are sourced from reputable suppliers and manufactured in a GMP compliant facility in the USA.

I have a hard time swallowing capsules, can I open the capsules and pour their contents in water?

You can, but we don’t recommend it! The ingredients inside our capsules taste bitter, which is why we have it encapsulated!

Is Recoop vegan

Yes and No! We use vegetarian capsules and our wellness set ingredients are vegan.

The Immunity Formula is not currently vegan but this is something we’re working on!

What is the recommended dosage for your products?

For Recoop Day Formula, take two pills once a day before you take stimulants.
For Recoop Night Formula, take two pills 30 minutes before bedtime.
So in short, take two of each formula every day you take stimulants.

MY PILLS ARE A DIFFERENT COLOR THEN THEY USUALLY ARE, IS THAT NORMAL?

Yes, it’s totally normal for the color of the pills to not stay consistent. Since we don't use dyes and only use natural ingredients in clear veggie capsules, there tends to be a range of brightness because the natural ingredients can vary in saturation. Occasionally you will see a little bit of discoloration between batches, but they are safe to take.

THE SCIENCE

What are the common side-effects of RX stimulants?

Some common side-effects include: insomnia, upset stomach, difficulty with impulse control, anxiety, cognitive dysfunction (memory, verbal fluency, brain fog), hormone imbalances resulting in sexual side effects, depression, long term brain damage, and anger/irritability.

What are the natural ingredients used in Recoop and how do they each mitigate the negative side effects of stimulants?

Recoop is designed to reduce the unwanted mental and physical effects caused by prescription stimulants with an all-natural, science backedblend of ingredients. Recoop reduces ‘crash’ symptoms, prevents rising tolerance, and supports faster, better sleep. Research shows that Recoop’s ingredients reduce oxidative stress on the cells which protects them from damage; some ingredients have even been shown to facilitate neurogenesis, which repairs damage that has already been done. What are some of the reasons someone would take or be prescribed prescription stimulants?

ADHD, ADD, narcolepsy and some types of depression are some reasons a doctor would prescribe stimulants. There are some off-label uses, but they’re rare and are on a case by case basis under the supervision of a medical professional. Stimulants increase dopamine and norepinephrine in the synapses of the brain. Since people have different brain chemistries, the reactions to the medication can differ. One example is those who take stimulants for ADHD tend to find themselves calmer, while those others who are prescribed the same medication typically have the opposite reaction.

What are the current ways people are dealing with the negative side-effects?

When reported, most doctors will simply keep switching patients to different medications in the same family to see if the new prescription will help reduce or mitigate negative side-effects. For example, if a patient is complaining about negative side-effects on Adderall, a doctor may prescribe Concerta instead which has a built-in time release, making it more difficult to abuse by slowing the breakdown in the stomach.

Additionally, some doctors will prescribe benzodiazepines (i.e. Valium, Xanax, Ambien) to help with negative side-effects.

What is the status of Americans who are prescribed stimulants?

ADHD diagnoses have grown 50% in the past 15 years. People under 18 are 26.5% of the 4.8m prescriptions for Adderall in the US.

Women are under-diagnosed as having ADHD by 50 to 70% compared to men. In fact, ADHD was originally seen as only a boys' or men's disorder and early research on ADHD studied only male patients. Skepticism and confusion still exist today as ADHD does not look the same in boys as it does in girls. Women with the disorder tend to be less hyperactive and impulsive; girls with ADHD can appear more disorganized, scattered, forgetful, and introverted. Men and boys with the disease tend to be more hyperactive.

Recoop was created by women who want to end the stigma and confusion surrounding ADHD for everyone, including women and girls.
